Antimo John Scialdone

SENECA FALLS, NY  – On November 3, 2024,  Antimo “Andy” Scialdone, 96,  was called to the Lord with his family by his side.  Predeceased by Helene, his wife of 64 years, and his son Anthony.  He is survived by his children: Sandra (Bob Luraas), Jim, Paul, Joe, Ann (Richard Capozza) and Susan Scialdone. Andy was blessed to have 17 grandchildren (NY, KY, AL, FL and CA) and 14 great-grandchildren.

Andy, a Seneca Falls native, loved all things outdoors.  He was a charter member to the Rumseyville Sportsman Club, a jovial bocce player, and a dedicated mushroom forager. He contributed many volunteer hours to meals-on-wheels, was a driver for Doran’s Funeral Home, and gave a helping hand to each of his 7 children.  As a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force, he educated many veterans on communication equipment during the Korean conflict.  After the service he worked for a telephone company, before joining then later retiring from Gould’s Pumps, Incorporated.

Per his request, there will be no calling hours.  His Funeral Service will be this Friday, November 8, 2024 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church in Seneca Falls , immediately followed by internment at St. Columbkille Catholic cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would request you to consider a contribution to The Pathway Home ( https://pathwayhome.org/ ) in Seneca Falls, who provided compassionate care during his final week of life.
