Arline Durning, age 86, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022. Arline is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Maurice; daughter, Alicia (William) Baum; and granddaughter, Teresa Strout.
Arline received an AS in photography at RIT and then went to work at Eastman Kodak where she met her husband. Arline was an accomplished seamstress who sewed drapes for her parents’ business and created imaginative Halloween costumes for her daughter. Arline was a member of the Penfield Art Association for many years and participated in the local Clothesline Art Show several times. She also enjoyed crafting and created a series of Christmas ornaments which she sold in holiday shows.
In addition to filling her home and life with art and music, Arline was a competitive bridge player and a lifelong bowler. She loved to travel and was especially fond of cruises with her husband.
