Bambi Lyn Morris

Rochester, New York – Bambi Lyn Morris, 54, passed away unexpectedly on February 25, 2025, in Rochester, New York. Born on November 8, 1970, in Owensboro, Kentucky.

Bambi graduated from Hamilton High School in Memphis, TN, prior to moving to Rochester, New York where she resided. She attended Monroe Community College and worked towards a degree in psychology. She was committed to the well-being of her family and friends and was often supporting them in many ways, ensuring they were doing well and being a good listener. Later in her career she worked for Lakeside Health Services (Mendon, NY) where she leaned into her passion for helping others and mental health advocacy.

Bambi loved her family, and her presence will be greatly missed. Bambi did not meet strangers; she would make a friend of whoever she met. She had a great sense of humor and often engaged in conversations with others that was thought provoking and entertaining.

Bambi is survived by her father, Lenard J. Morris, Sr. (Salome); siblings Reginald Brooks, Sr. (Dana, nephews Reginald, Jr and Golden), Lenard J. Morris, Jr. (Kelly and niece Kennedy), Tiff'ny Morris (niece, Bailey) along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Carolyn Morris.

There are no calling hours, however a memorial service will be scheduled later to celebrate Bambi’s life.

Bambi will be deeply missed but never forgotten, and her legacy of kindness and love will live on in those who knew her.
