He was a retired building inspector for the town of Ogden, but in his retirement years he found his true passion. He started Rochester Carousel Works and carved full size carousel animals and taught many people over the years how to carve their own carousel animals. He also was hired to restore many of the animals on the carousel at the Syracuse Mall and was commissioned to restore one also inRhode Island. To challenge himself more, he started taking painting classes at local colleges painting beautiful pictures for his family gradually working into another art medium and taking pottery and ceramic classes again creating beautiful works of art that were cherished by his whole family.
Due to Covid-19, a celebration of his life will be celebrated by his family this summer. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society, 1120 S.Goodman St, Rochester, NY 14620
