Chuck was a 55 yr. devoted member & retiree of UA Local 13 Plumbers & Pipefitters Union. He was extremely proud of his Union, his family and their heritage. There were few tools he did not own and few people he did not befriend. He thoroughly enjoyed growing up in “Swillburg” and his time spent living in the Village of Fairport the last 25 years.
Some of his common “dadisms” were: “You can always take it off but you can’t always put it on,” “Ya gotta be shittin’ me,” “You make a better door than a window,” “To each, his own” and “Who do you think I am….Web Francis??? You think I own RG&E? Close the GD door!! We’re not heating the outside!!”
Despite his gruff demeanor, Chuck possessed a good-natured soul and thus he will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery will be limited to family once COVID-19 restriction is lifted. A celebration of life gathering will be held in the future. Time, date & location TBD.
Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Chuck to the Blessed Sacrament Supper Program, 259 Rutgers St. Rochester, NY 14607.
