Cheryl W. Halperyn

Cheryl Wendy Halperyn (1944-2025) 

Cheryl Wendy Halperyn, 80, of Pittsford died on January 26, 2025.She was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1944 to Samuel and Ruth Halperyn, and cared for them dearly in their old age. 

She worked for the family business, Rochester Machine Screw Company in different positions over the years, and was also an entrepreneur, running her own tobacco and candy wholesaler. 

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jay Tyler Halperyn, and is survived by her nephew Jonathan Jay Halperyn.

Cheryl enjoyed the company of her many friends over the years, and especially loved her time at the Rochester Yacht Club. She was a loving mother to her fur babies - Westie - Sammy and Springer Spaniel - Callie, who brought her great joy.
