Sparta, New York: October 8, 2023 at age 71. Deborah is survived by her loving partner of 23 years, Christopher Harris; daughters, Kimberly & Kristen; son, James; grandchildren, Daniel, PJ, Sarah, Henry & Douglas; a community of caring, wonderful friends.
Deb graduated from West Genesee High School in Syracuse, NY. She resided in Rochester’s 19th Ward raising her three children and working at the University of Rochester’s River Campus. Deborah moved to Dansville and raised her grandson Daniel while employed by First American in Henrietta. Her family and friends enjoyed her beautifully crafted scrumptious baked goods and witty conversation. In addition, refinishing wood furniture, sewing quilts, canning, and gardening were a few of her many hobbies. Spoiling her family and pets while keeping tabs on everything happening in her neighborhood brought her endless delight.
A gathering to celebrate Deb’s life will be held on November 4th, from 11am to 3pm at Red Fedele’s BROOK HOUSE, 920 Elmridge Center Drive, Rochester, NY,14626. In lieu of flowers a donation in Deborah K. Alexander’s name to Sparta Center Volunteer Fire Company, 8479 Reeds Corners Road, Dansville, NY 14437 or Livingston County EMS, 3360 Gypsy Lane, Mt. Morris, NY 14510 would be greatly appreciated.
