Rochester, NY: September 14th, 2021, at the age of 67 Diane passed away peacefully. She is predeceased by her father Alexander Scott; sisters Sidney and Alexis Scott; nephew Dennis Harrison; great nieces Bryanna White and Kayla Scott. She is survived by her best friend and companion Floyd Davis, mother Katherine; siblings Mildred (Paul) Sanchez, Earl (Lucy) Scott, Mary Scott, Adrian Scott, Andre Scott and Pamela Scott; many nieces and nephews, cousins and special friends.

Diane was a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant at the Brightonian until she retired. She was a compassionate person who loved spending time with her family. Family was important to her, she would often say “I love all of my family, even the idiots”. Diane enjoyed talking with her friends and family, traveling and trying her luck at the casino. She always kept a smile on her face and a joke to share.

Thank you to the staff of the palliative care unit at Strong Memorial Hospital for taking excellent care of Diane. Additionally, thank you to all of Diane’s support team of special friends. A special thank you to her nephew Darrell White and his wife, her niece Heather and to Diane’s best friend and companion Floyd Davis for always being there for her.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to Golisano Children’s Hospital at 601 Elmwood Ave Rochester, NY 14642 in memory of Diane.

Diane’s Celebration of Life will be held on September 24th, 2021 12-3pm at Arndt Funeral Home, 1118 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14626.
