Donna Louise Groh (Weber)

d. December 28, 2020

Greece, NY: With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Donna Louise Groh (Weber), our loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend to all whose lives she touched, at the age of 77 on 12/28/2020. She died peacefully with a Yankees hat on, a Notre Dame shirt, holding a bear given to her by her granddaughter Karissa and gripping a 4 year sobriety coin that was dedicated to her by her grandson Ryan, she was so proud of his sobriety and will forever be his angel, and listening 1 last time to her favorite song playing How Great Thou Art .

Donna was born to Jane and Victor Weber on 01/17/1943 in Rochester, New York.

Donna enjoyed spending time with her family, and friends. Her greatest joy though, was her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, she treasured and embraced every moment with them and was looking forward to meeting the 2 new great grandkids . Donna had a vivacious personality that everyone loved to be around. She was an avid Yankees, Notre Dame and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Donna even got her 1st tattoo with the Yankee symbol and #2 at the age of 61!

Donna will be sorely missed and is survived by her husband Gary; 3 children Heidi, Glen, and Susan (Steve) Krautwurst; 3 grandchildren Ryan (Kylie) Krautwurst, Karissa Krautwurst, and Nolan Krautwurst; Great-grandchildren Brendan and Oaklyn Krautwurst, and soon to be great-grandchildren Camden and Taytum Krautwurst. Donna had 1 sister Mary Kay Schliff, and 1 brother Gary (Ann) Weber and 4 nephews Tim and Scott Schliff, Kevin (Julie) Weber and Mike (Guthrie) Groh. All whom loved her dearly and will never forget her tenacity, charm, and smile that would light up a room.

Donna was preceded in death by her mother and father Jane and Victor Weber, brother Glen Weber, nephew Stephen Weber, brother-in-laws Reggie Schliff and Earl Groh.

Due to Covid the family has decided to hold off on a celebration of life, tentatively scheduled for May 14th (which was chosen for the anniversary of Derek Jeters #2 being retired) or the 15th at Location TBD.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in memory of Donna to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
