Dorothy Mae Hedges Hudson

Dorothy Mae Hedges Hudson passed away on January 17th, 2025. She was predeceased by her parents, seven of her siblings, and her loving son Jerry Donald Hudson. She is survived by her brother William Hedges, her children Janet Hudson, Kevin (Pat) Hudson, Nancy (Ricky Huntoon) Ames-Chapman, her grandchildren Michelle (Mike) Kindig, Jeremy (Gerie) Hudson, Adam (Shanna) Hudson, Sadie Chapman, Dana (Mike) McDeid, Holley Chapman, Rebecca Hudson, her great grandchildren Annabelle, Emerson, Loghan, Charlotte, Skylar, Grayson, Micha, and Lyric, as well as hundreds of nieces and nephews she loved dearly, and special life long friend Chuck Grimes. Born in Ashford, New York, she lived an amazing 96 years. Over 30 of those years were spent as a nurse predominantly at Genesee Hospital in Rochester, New York, where she made a home and life for her family. Famous for her snack mix, pies, and Kris Kringle cookies, she passed peacefully after a full life. A private memorial service will be provided by the family at a later time. In lieu of flowers the family asks to please make a donation to the National Scleroderma Foundation.
