Dorothy Mae Parker

Dorothy Mae Parker (Dot), Lyons NY, passed away on February 12, 2025 at the age of 60, at Rochester general hospital- hospice care.

Dorothy is predeceased by her father Willie Parker Sr.; mother Mae Frances Parker-Brown; brothers Willie Earl, Luther and Jimmy Lee.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her significant other Ronnie Watkins, sisters: Myrrh (Javier) Ruiz, Teresa (Jesse) Hall, brothers: Willie (Deb)Parker, James (Linda)Parker, Sidney Parker: special nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and friends. 

Dorothy was baptized as a child in Sodus NY. She attended Sodus central high school. Dorothy worked at various jobs until she became disabled. She loved going to beaches. And she always showed up for the family barbecues, she loved having a good time. Dorothy would often reach out to keep in touch with family near and far. She easily made friends everywhere she went. She will be missed. 

The family will have a memorial gathering in the spring.
