Edward Ernest Austin

Hilton, NY; Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at age 55 after a courageous battle with cancer, peacefully, surrounded by family and friends. Predeceased by his father, Leonard Delano Austin II; mother, Judith Austin; stepmother, Lena (Pusateri) Austin; brother, Grant (Kathleen) Austin. He is survived by his brothers, Andrew Austin, Trent (Sally) Austin, Dwight Austin, Leonard (Gay) Austin III; step-siblings, Mike (Diane) Pusateri, John Pusateri, MaryAnn Pusateri and Dan (Deb) Pusateri; nieces and nephews, AJ (Christa) Austin, Kevin (Anders) DeGraad, Hanna Austin, and Evan Austin.

Eddie was born and raised in Greece, NY until age 10, moved to Churchville-Chili, and graduated from there in 1987. After graduation he moved to California with family but returned to Henrietta in 2017 and finally settled in Hilton, NY. Eddie was passionate about the Buffalo Bills, loved attending games and watched them faithfully on game days. The Bills logo was one of his three tattoos. He was also a lover of music. His other tattoos were of his two favorite music groups; Queensryche and Led Zeppelin. He enjoyed many rounds of disc golf with his brothers and loved playing euchre with friends and family.

A special thank you to Sandy and Beverly who were a tremendous help in the final weeks of Eddie's battle.

There will be a celebration of Ed’s life tentatively scheduled on his birthday, Monday, October 20, 2025.
