Elgie P Kightlinger Jr., 39, of Grand Island, NY passed unexpectedly February 2, 2020 surrounded by family.
A celebration of life will be held at 1pm on February 23rd at the American Legion; 6525 Ward Rd Sanborn, NY.
Elgie is survived by his wife of 17 years, Marla (Conn) Kightlinger, his dogs Lola and Nico, parents Jeff and Audrey (Harrell) Goodale, sister Desiree Goodale, son in law to Patrick and Marci Conn, brother in law to Timothy Conn (Cayla) and Erin Conn. Elgie is predeceased by his father Elgie P Kightlinger Sr.
Elgie graduated from Barker High School in 1999. Elgie worked for 15 years at Dunlop and was a proud union member of USW Local 135. Some of his accomplishments include playing in the 1999 title VI championship for football, an ISSA certified Personal Trainer and competitive power lifter. Everyone who knew him said he had a heart of gold and a willingness to assist anyone in anything they needed.
