After several courageous battles with cancers, God’s beloved Elizabeth (Betty Jane) was called home on Friday Sept. 28th. Elizabeth is predeceased by her brothers Fr. Bernie Carges and Joseph Carges, and her son-in-law Geary LePore.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband and best friend Herman G. Hetzler. United in marriage for over 61 years, they celebrated life with their children: Rita (Dave) Wadleigh, Meg LePore, Robert Hetzler, Eileen (Norb) Lopez, Sharon (Terry) Asenato, and Mary Beth (Mike) Woolaver. Elizabeth is also survived by many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and dear friends.
A Mass for Elizabeth will be held October 6 th at 11 am at St. Cecilia’s Church of St. Kateri Parish, 2732 Culver Rd. The family invites friends and family to a reception immediately following the Mass in Newcomb Hall.
In lieu of flowers please donate to either St. Cecilia’s Church or Sunset House, 3246 St Paul Blvd (14617). The burial will be at the convenience of the family.
