Rochester, NY: December 14, 2020. Elizabeth (Liz) “Betty Bonn” Mahle, born November 10, 1941.
Predeceased by devoted parents John Paul and Helen (Viola) Bonn, dear brother John Paul, Jr., husband of 40 years Jacque, a very devoted family man.
A 1959 graduate of West High School and a 1963 graduate of Nazareth College, she is survived by her loving companion and love of her life, Carl Crumley and his dear family, mother Katherine of Rochester; sister Loraine Sukalski of Centralia, Missouri; daughter Liz (Matt) and granddaughters Maura and Sadie; and her older, wiser sister Marie Bonn of Rochester, and sister-in-law Joanne Tingley Bonn of Sebastapol, California.
Also survived by her beautiful daughters Jennifer Kraus (Terry) of Aiken, South Carolina and Susan Mahle of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; her adored and cherished granddaughters Mariah Howe (Ronnie) of Nunda, New York, and Natalya Kraus of Charleston, South Carolina; and her precious great-granddaughters Shianne and Raelynn of Nunda, New York.
In addition to Carl, Liz was very blessed to have a “posse” of dear friends who supported her throughout her journey in life. She shared laughter and tears with them. As far as she was concerned, it doesn’t get any better than that!
Be joyful and grateful for all we have. Liz lived by the motto of the AA organization: “God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, and Wisdom to know the difference.”
Smile, so people know you care.
There will be no memorial service due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The family requests no flowers or donations in her name, just remember this beautiful person in your prayers.
