Francis (Frank) Edward Slyck, 77, of Rochester, NY, went to the great raceway in the sky March 11th, 2023. He was born June 9, 1945, to Edna and Frank Slyck.
Frank, as he was known, a most loving brother, was predeceased by sister Sandra. He is survived by his brother Dave, cousins Kathy and Gary Dold, Aunt Mary Lou Sponn and former spouse and companion Judy Slyck.
Frank attended West High School and upon graduation majored in economics at American University. His outgoing personality led to a career in sales. While residing in Denver, Colorado he was a mentor to handicapped young adults, one of his most rewarding careers. He also actively raised funds for American Diabetes Association. He loved automobile racing, everything from dirt track to Formula One.
A Celebration of Life for Frank will be held on Wednesday, March 15th from 2-5 PM with his Memorial Service around 3:30pm at Rochester Cremation Event Center, 1118 Long Pond Road, Rochester, New York.
