Rochester, NY: Freddie G. Bass entered his mansion in heaven on January 18, 2020 at the age of 84
Born in Brown Summit, North Carolina, but residing in Rochester New York.
Freddie was a loving gentle, wise father to his only living daughter Kenyetta Clark (punkin) and his only Son Michael Poles (Pete). He was a very very loving grandfather to his granddaughters Nicoya, Jala, and Allani . He is survived by his long time companion Audrey, and mother of his children Grace. He has one surviving brother (Timothy Bass) that resides in Greensboro, North Carolina who was right by his side as Freddie took his first step into heaven.
Freddie was on a golf league(Leroy Country Club) and bowling league(Strikes and Spares). He enjoyed fishing with friends and socializing at P.I’s Lounge. He was a member of The Elks Lodge, and Old Timers Club. He Loved his church Trinity Baptist and was a beloved deacon there.
Freddie was a retired machinist from the Leroy machine shop in Leroy, NY where he had many comrades. One of the events he would take part in with them was “The Annual Clam Bake” that he never missed even after 35+ Years of retirement. Freddie will be loved and missed dearly by all who knew him
A private memorial service will be held in his honor.
