Harold G. Giddings, 72
Harold G. (Harry) Giddings, Rochester, passed away June 29, 2024 at home.
Born September 28, 1951, in Watertown, NY, he was the son of the late Ernest and Lila (Green) Giddings. He graduated from Sackets Harbor School in 1969. Following high school, he attended Canton College, and went to work for Kodak where he stayed until his retirement. He enjoyed music of all kinds, starting in high school when he played in a band called the Fugitives, and compiled a huge collection of CDs. Working for Kodak he developed photography skills, and frequently enjoyed taking pictures of all kinds, but specifically of his family and friends. He also loved playing golf, hunting, camping, and creating many beautiful stained-glass pictures.
His marriages to the late Linda L. Lawrence and Cindy Bean both ended in divorce.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Necole and John Hulbert; three grandchildren Elizabeth L. Hulbert, Alexander J. (Jordyn) Hulbert, and Jacob L. (Sierra) Hulbert; as well as his favorite cousin Christine Giddings and her family Jeremy, Jessica, Rhylie, Soraya, Avery, and Catelynn who all live in Florida.
Per Harry’s wishes, he was cremated and there will be no services. Burial will be at the family’s
convenience in Sackets Harbor, NY.
