Rochester, NY: November 22, 2022 at age 92. Henry is predeceased by his daughter-in-law Karen Berg (Buske) and son-in-law Tyler Roth. He is survived by his devoted wife Virginia Berg (Burkhardt) of 65 years. He is also survived by his children, Mike, Mark (Sandy), Patty, Dennis (Michelle), Sharon (Tim), and all 6 of his grandchildren, Jessica, Valerie, Steven, Brandon, Cori, and Chad, and 1 great-grandchild, LeAnn.
He was born in Essen, Germany and came to the United States, when he was 20 in 1950. He was in the 11th Airborne Division as a paratrooper from 1953-1955 age of 23-25. He retired from Rochester Products as a welder. Henry was very helpful and considerate of others. He was very creative and able to fix just about anything. Henry had a good sense of humor, always a jokester and fun to be around. He had a positive attitude and had a smile for everyone.
Henry’s Visitation will be on Thursday, December 8th, 2022 between 2-5 pm at Rochester Cremation, 1118 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14626. Private family burial of ashes will be Friday, December 9th, 2022 at 10 am, at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
