It is with great sadness that the family of James Joseph Berwind, born March 10, 1952, announce his passing on Thursday November 14, 2024 at age 72 peacefully at home after a courageous battle with brain cancer.
Jim is predeceased by his parents , Bernard and Greta Berwind and his son Kraig Berwind.
He is survived by his life partner and best friend, Martha Addis. He is also survived by his children, whom he was proud of, Amanda Ullah (Farid), Dakota Berwind (Hattie) and Jacob Berwind (Shannon) and 5 Grandchildren. He is also survived by an Aunt, several cousins, Alexandra and many friends.
Jim was a printer by trade and retired from Baush and Lomb after many years of service.
He was an avid sports enthusiast. He loved the Yankees and the Buffalo Bills. GO BILLS…(he loved that part.)
Jim was a member of the PAC Club following family tradition.
Services will be held on Saturday the 7th of December, at Church of the Annunciation 1760 Norton Street Rochester, NY 14609 at 10 AM
A repast to follow at the PAC 385 Weaver Street Rochester, NY 14609 (Parking on Hudson) all are welcome.
