Jo Anne Guth

Jo Anne (Riddell) Guth, 62, of Bethlehem, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017 in Strong Memorial Hospital (Rochester, NY).  She was the wife of the late Dennis J. Guth.  Born in Utica, NY, she was the daughter of the late Milton D. and Helen L. (Jones) Riddell, and the sister of the late Kenneth A. Riddell.  After obtaining her degree in Early Education from Kutztown University, she worked in childcare for many years, including her in-home daycare (Munchkins Retreat) and the YMCA.  She later obtained a second degree from Allentown Business School and worked for many years in the Medical Records Department at St. Lukes Hospital.  Jo Anne recently moved to Rochester, NY to enjoy her retirement.  She was a caring woman who loved reading, baking treats for all occasions, and spending time in the Adirondack Mountains.  Survivors: son, Brian J.; niece, Amy Smolick-Caley; two great nieces, Reese and Brenna.  Services: Memorial Service is 9:00am Saturday, June 3rd at Life Church Nazareth: 4609 Newburg Rd., Nazareth.
