Chili, NY: Passed away at home on March 18, 2019 at age 86. She is predeceased by her husband, Mario Paolotto and mother, Helen Van de Putte.
Joan is survived by her children Linda Dojka, Michael (Mary Ellen) Paolotto, Shari (Michael) Battaglia; grandchildren Marc Dojka, Scott (Amanda) Dojka , Casey Battaglia and Joshua Battaglia; great-grandchildren Caitlyn, Trevor and Killian Dojka.
Joan was a unique and loving spirit who lived life to the fullest and definitely on her own terms. She enjoyed travel and volunteer work until the very end.
Friends are invited to her Celebration of Life Service at The Elmgrove United Methodist Church, 1500 Spencerport Rd., Rochester 14606 on Saturday, March 30th at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Neonatal (NICU) Unit at The Golisano Children’s Center at UMRC or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
