Rochester, NY: It is with great sadness that on Wednesday October 3rd 2018, John E Gerow Jr. passed away at the age of 86. John will lovingly be remembered by his wife (Linda) of 61 years, his children, Karen (Dan), Lori (Tom) and son, Tim. John will also be remembered fondly by his 5 grandchildren, Ckris, Jessica, Kera (Eric), Laura (Charlie) and Justin. He will also be missed by his 7 great granddaughters. John is survived by his sister Delores Jonasse, several nieces, nephews and many friends. John was predeceased by his eldest son, John E Gerow the 3rd, mother Ida and father John, brother Donald and sister Nancy Taylor.
John was a veteran of the Marines who served in the Korean War. John was employed at Eastman Kodak for 39 years.
A memorial service will be at The Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Redeemer 1549 Dewey Ave, Rochester, NY on Saturday Oct. 27th at 10 am.
