Ogden, NY: John Eric Scott passed peacefully on February 11, 2021 after a lengthy illness. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Diane, son Daniel, stepchildren Randi (Clay) Smith, and Kelly (Amy) Gendrou, grandchildren Nicholas, Lola, Lucas, Casco, and Alex, stepsister Joanne (Robert) Bracey, as well as extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Scott, stepbrother Richard Majeski, and son Eric Scott.
John served four years in the United States Air Force as a jet engine mechanic and retired from the Rochester City School District where he taught auto mechanics at Edison Tech.
A private burial in a military cemetery will take place in the spring.
