John Thomas Ambrosi (“JT”) passed away on April 25, 2022 at age 59. He is survived by his son, John William “Jack” Ambrosi, parents John and Ann Ambrosi, sisters Beth, Kelly, Marc (Heather), Maria (Tim McNamara), niece Marley Wolgast, nephew Kevin Wolgast, and cousins Marc (Andrea), Stephen (Tracy), Steve, and AJ Demeo.
JT attended Penfield High School and the University of Rochester (BA, MS) where he studied history and public policy analysis. He served as a Captain in the Marine Corps during the Gulf War. Back in Rochester, JT worked in telecommunications, primarily at PaeTec Corporation. He loved listening to music, reading non-fiction, yardwork, a great storm and a debate over almost anything. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Louis Church, Pittsford, New York at 9am on Saturday, April 30th, 2022. Internment at Bath, VA Cemetery, with military honors, will happen over the summer.
