Joseph D. Quinn ~ April 11, 2023

Geneseo: At age 61, Joe passed peacefully at home. He was born in Rochester, NY to the late Robert (Buddy) Quinn and Corrine Plum Quinn. He was also predeceased by his dear friend Mike Carey. Survived by his sister, Kati Quinn; niece and nephew, Emily and Matt Sorrentino; along with his great niece and nephews; his very close friend and confidant for many years, Erika Kaiser and her children Alex & Violet; his longtime friend and extended family member, Kathy Rudolph and her sons Matthew & Jacob; Marylou Wilkins; as well as many cousins and friends.

Joe served in the Air Force from 1982-1985 where he was honorably discharged as a demolition technician.

Many knew Joe as “The Professor”! A nickname given to him by his High School Science Teacher, as Joe challenged him at every turn with his genius mind!

As Joe would have surely requested, there will be no prior calling or funeral services.

For Joe’s entire life, he looked forward to the Ring of Fire on Conesus Lake, which takes place every July 3rd. To honor Joe’s memory and his “well known” passion for fireworks, please consider donating in his name to:  Conesus Fest for Charity Inc., P.O Box 400, Buffalo, NY 14205-0400.  This will help fund a spectacular fireworks show for a great cause, which Joe thoroughly enjoyed every year.

Sincere thanks to Rochester Cremation for your compassion and guidance.
