Judith (Hartman) Riso, age 78 went to her heavenly home after a long battle with various medical conditions on May 27, 2020.
Judy was born in Webster, NY on October 27, 1941, into the loving arms of her late parents, Bernice M. (Engel) and Robert H. Hartman.
Along with Batavia and Webster, she also resided in Cherry Hill, NJ and Duxbury, MA. Judy graduated from Webster High School in Webster, NY in 1959. Following graduation, she was employed at IBM in Rochester, NY until she was married.
Judy graced the world with her sweet, vibrant smile, kind personality, sharp mind, and keen wit. Throughout her life, she was challenged by several health issues but did her absolute best to be a loving, caring, mother and grandmother. She was very artistic and enjoyed painting and drawing, and happily shared her talent with others. Her hobbies included crafting, bridge, working crossword puzzles, going to the beach, and she was always up for a spirited political discussion. Judy was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed volunteering in her community whenever she was able.
In addition to her parents, Judy is predeceased by her husband, Andrew Dennis Riso, sister, Marcia Hartman, nephew, Todd Schumaker and her mother and father-in-law, Rose Cipriano Riso and Andrew Lester Riso.
Judy is remembered with love by those who survive her: daughter, Denise Milanette, son, Christopher Riso, granddaughter, Lheiren (Jonathon Dunn) Milanette, brother, Robert (Sue) Hartman, niece, Kerry (Dominic) Vitaro, nephew, Charles (Julie) Hartman, sister and brother-in-law, Josette (Riso) and Joe Anzalone; nephew, Joseph (Lisa) Anzalone; niece, Rosemarie (Tony Calderone) Anzalone; several grandnieces and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to your favorite charity in Judith’s memory. Interment at White Haven Memorial Park with a memorial service at a later date to be determined.
