Judith “Judy” Jesmer (Perine), 82, passed away at The Maplewood Nursing Home after a long battle with Alzheimer’s on December 17, 2019.
Judy was born in 1937 in Topeka, Kansas where she developed her love for art, travel and family. In 1964, she married her husband, Gerald “Jerry” Jesmer. Together, their family grew to include two sons, Jed and Peter. They settled down in Fairport, NY, where she enjoyed spending time with the long-standing Clarkes Crossing neighbors.
Judy spent her career as a proud staff member at the Mary Cariola Children’s center before retiring after 20 years. She was a devoted wife and mother that was a recognized and accomplished painter who had an eye for collectable treasures.
She is predeceased by her beloved parents, Jack and Agnus Perine, brother Peter Perine, husband Gerald “Jerry” Jesmer, and son Jed Jesmer.
She is survived by her brother David Perine, son Peter Jesmer and grandchildren Jack, Maddy and Tanya Jesmer (Peter).
There will be no formal services. The family invites anyone wishing to remember Judy to make a donation in her name to the Mary Cariola Children’s Center in Rochester, NY
