Rochester, NY: Kenneth died February 1, 2023 peacefully at home in his sleep at age 67. Ken is predeceased by his mother in law, Carolyn V Ferris, (who he called Mom because she loved him like a son). He is survived by his wife of 49 years Rosemary; his son Kenneth (Gwen) Rivers; his daughter Carolyn (Marc) Schell; three amazing grandchildren Ari and Janelle Rivers and Adalyn Schell; sister in law (like a sister) Deborah Ferris, brother in law David (Debbie) Ferris; two nieces and three nephews.
This man met his wife at age 12, dated at 14, married at 18 yrs old. This man said he never had a family until he met mine. They took him in and loved him and in return he did the same for them. This man was the hardest working man. He worked 2 -3 jobs at a time to take care of me and his children who were his life. He was their baseball, bowling, and soccer coach. He never missed his daughter’s soccer games from 4 yrs old to college. He was his son’s fishing and hunting Buddy right to the end and his grandchildren’s Proud Grand Pa Pa of Ari and Janelle and Adalyns Friday date night at McDonalds. This man was incredibly kind, easy going, and generous; always willing and ready to help his family and anyone who called anytime. He always loved and cared for his sister in law Debbie (Sunday night dinner partner) and his nephews and niece (Sam, Devon, and Carolina). This man loved his family, loved fishing and hunting with his son Kenny. He loved telling corny jokes and loved to scorch us all especially his daughter Carol. He truly loved them both!!! He loved McDonald’s, Bill Grays, and Texas Road house. This man will be missed by his family and CoCo every second of every minute of every hour of everyday!! This man Loved and was very Loved!!!!
