Lillian J. (Johnson) Gregory of Victor, NY passed away at the age of 82, on December 31, 2018 after living with Alzheimer’s for more than 10 years. She is survived by John Gregory, her loving husband of 61 years, her twin sister Maryann (Al) Rainson of Manhasset, NY and four children; Lauren (Bill) Houston of Fairport, NY; Charlie (Angela) Gregory of Malta, NY; Glenn Gregory of Rochester, NY; and Paul (Molly Michelmore) Gregory of Lexington, VA. She was adored by her granddaughters Ashley (Ethan) Payne, Paige (Trevor) Beck, as well as her grandsons Diarmuid, Ben, Aidan, Sammy and John Gregory and Jamie Michelmore. Lillian is predeceased by her parents Carl and Mary Johnson of Brooklyn, NY and her brother Raymond Johnson of Mount Holly, NJ.

Lillian was born in Brooklyn, NY where she eventually met her husband John in an ice cream parlor. She lived with John most recently at the Legacy in Victor, NY after they moved from their Pittsford, NY home of 51 years. She was known for her love of music and dancing as well as her artistic talent, especially but not limited to watercolor painting.  She also enjoyed summer family vacations with her husband and children at Long Beach Island, NJ. Lillian earned an Associates degree from RIT and worked as a secretary.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 am on January 18th in the All Seasons Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford, NY. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donations to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 8th Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001 or www.alzfdn.org .
