Linda N. Rinas: Brockport, NY: September 4, 2021.
Her beautiful journey began on January 30th, 1941. A loving sister to Les, Roger and Frances.
In 1979 she met her devoted husband Oskar whom she was proud of beyond measure. Together they shared their love for traveling, dancing, skiing, the occasional ‘iced tea bomber’, and above all else family. Their retirement years were filled with road trips across the country, winters in Florida, attendance in countless get togethers and an abundance of love and laughter.
With open arms she welcomed Michael (Diane) as her son. She gave him the best gift of all, unconditional love for his father. Her role of Nana to Justin and Jenna (Raffaele) was second to none. Always up for one more game of UNO, or one more batch of “yuck soup”.
In recent years, her nurturing instincts never lacked when her great granddaughters Pia and Giulia were born. Her gentle ways shown brightly when she held them close and calmed their cries. Her kindness and love was never at a minimum, as even her grand dogs were spoiled rotten.
Her friends would say she was always up to plan a party and not afraid to beat the pants off the boys in a game of cards.
Her memory is one that will never be forgotten, as she left an imprint on those who were lucky enough to have known her.
We find immense comfort in knowing that Linda’s memory was made whole again on September 4th, 2021 when she was returned to God’s hands.
