In 1987 he earned Chrysler Corporations top service technician award for being one of top ten diagnostic technicians in the world.

He was an active outdoorsman most of his life who enjoyed fishing and hunting and passing those skills down to his children and grandchildren.

Shawn Strong (Collete Follett), Darrell (Mary Jo) Strong,  Robert T. Strong (Rheesa Rood), Scott Strong (Sandy Blaker), Timothy Strong (Deanna Senay) Eric M. (Katarina) Strong, Robert Allen (Jeffrey Allen), Justin Beyea.; Three sisters Lucinda Meeks Strong, Susan Strong,  Ruth Kutil, and two brothers Robert A. Strong, and Carl Ellison.  Lynn had 32 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

On behalf of Lynn and family, we would further extend gratitude to his close friend Florence Greene who in his final years and days helped looked after him and his daily quality of life.

Almighty God, I thank You for the comfort of Your Word. You have told me that my heart can be at peace about my dad’s passing. I know he went immediately into Your presence when he left us here on earth. Thank You, my heavenly Father!
