Maria Rakuta, Gates, NY at age 65 unexpectedly went to be with her Lord on August 4, 2018. Maria was a kind soul and a caregiver to everyone near and dear to her. She was predeceased by her parents Stefan and Martha Rakuta. She is survived by her sisters Donna (Manfred) Sachs and Monica Roper, nephew Manfred Sachs Jr., nieces Regina (Don) Steele, Dana (Michael) Santos, great nephew Jacob Steele, great nieces Alayna and Selena Santos whom she adored and last but not least her cat Lucky.
There will be no calling hours per Maria’s wishes. A private service will be held at a later date for her immediate family and friends at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
