North Chili, NY:  Marjorie R. McClure, 90, of North Chili passed to be with her Lord, on Friday, February 10, 2023.  Born on Aug. 23, 1932 in Wellsville, N.Y., she was the daughter of Earl A. Roberts and Estelle (Bailey) Roberts.

Marjorie graduated from Edward J Meyer Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Buffalo N.Y. in 1953 and was employed for many years as the Nurse at Brockport Middle School.

She was an active member of the Brockport Free Methodist Church and was able to express her love of music through serving as the organist for many years.  In 1999 she moved to North Chili where she became a member of Pearce Memorial Church.

She enjoyed making things beautiful through her love of gardening.

She also had a special interest in history, especially of her family which created a special connection and strength from the past.

She was a wonderful Mom, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother always keeping close track of their accomplishments and adventures.

Survivors include her son, Mark (Cyndi) McClure of Wheaton Il.; her daughter Mary (Mark) Christopher of Rochester; four grandchildren, Kyle (Charity) McClure, Chrystl (Nick) Roberge, Michelle (Tom) Bean, Megan (Dan) Cantrell; five great grandchildren, Finn, Rhys, Elin McClure, Oliver, Mac Roberge.

A celebration of life service is being planned for March 17th at Pearce Memorial Church in North Chili at 11:00 am with a reception following the service.
