Marjorie Rafter, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2024, surrounded by her family, at the age of 88.
Marge was a pillar of strength, wisdom, and love in our lives. Born on February 13, 1936, she lived a life filled with grace and compassion. Her unwavering faith in Jesus and dedication to her family were the cornerstones of her life. Marjorie’s warm smile and vibrant spirit touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Throughout her years, Marge embraced every moment with a joyful heart. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, whose nurturing presence created a haven of love and support for her family. Her stories, laughter, sense of humor, and boundless love will be deeply missed, but forever remembered.
She leaves behind her husband James Rafter, her children Debi (Steve) Elliott, Darcy Mazzochetti, Dennis (Dawn) Landry, Doreen Rund ( Bobby DeGrande), Dawn (Tony) Paulino, Sister and best friend Donna Singer, sisters Kathy (Ed) Swartzenberg, Linda (Dick) Clark, Sue (Steve) Vail, Jessica (Jeff) Rainer, 18 Grandchildren, 24 Great-Grandchildren, and many other family members and close friends.
While we grieve her loss, we find comfort in knowing that Marge is now at peace, enveloped in the love of the Lord. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 2-6
