Michael T. Kolb, Sr., 68 of Greece, NY passed away peacefully with his family at his bedside following a long fought battle with Diabetes. Predeceased by his parents Wallace & Linda, brother Timothy and mother of his children Maureen (Christoff) Steele. Michael is survived by his loving children: Jean of Greece, NY, Thomas (Christine) of Flower Mount, TX, Jacqueline (Todd Irwin) of Caledonia, NY, Michael Jr. (Kelly) of Greece, NY; amazing grandchildren, Michael III, Troy, Douglas, Matthew, Marcus, Makayla, Brooklyn and Bryce. He is also survived by his loving sister Linda (Gerald) Lapp of Linwood, NY; nephew Jeremy (Amy) Lapp of Oak Harbor, WA, Jason (Eden) Lapp of Richmond VA; Sister – in – law Sherry: along with nephew Terrance (Gail) of Ashburn, VA, nieces Tiffany (Jason Baham) of  Glen Allen, VA, and Stephanie (Matthew Stappenbeck) of Henrietta, NY.
Michael was born and raised in Rochester, NY where he graduated from Edison Tech High School and then enlisted in the US Army where he was taught his technological skills while serving in Vietnam. Michael was an amazing grandfather, dad, son, uncle, brother, friend, neighbor and pet owner. He always put everyone’s needs and wants before his own. He was always quiet, until he was comfortable, than look out – he was full of jokes and laughs.
Family and friends are invited for graveside service on Saturday, August 12, 2017 @ 10:00 AM at Maplewood Cemetery, 150 Middle Road, Henrietta, NY 14467.
