Rochester: November 3, 2014 at age 72. Nancy is survived by her children, Aaron Jones (Lisa), Christine Cunningham (Tim), Rebekah Jones(Jim); grandchildren, Kevin Clark, Zachary R. Smith, Amanda Jones, Kendall Cunningham; great-grandchildren, Lilyan E. Clark, Ashton Lamb, Alex Lamb; siblings; Lois Amato (Joe), Joyce Juzwiak (Joe), Diane Bogdon (Chuck); nieces and nephews; dear friends. She is predeceased by her mother, Elizabeth C. Wahl and father, Robert O. Wahl
Nancy was a kind, loving and of deeply compassionate woman of tremendous heart. She most enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She taught them to pursue their interests and passions in life, be it music, dance, art, education, outdoor activities or wildlife. Her constant companion was a book and was always immersed in a novel. Animals were a fundamental part of her life and she was an advocate for the humane treatment of pets. She had passion for environmental issues, loved to go camping, fishing and spent time painting & doing crafts. She very giving and actively supported countless charitable organizations.
Nancy was involved with T.O.P.S, YMCA, Little Theater, Lazy Lakes Camping Resort, Sierra Club and was employed by the State of New York as a Supervisor at Long Acre Group Home (Retired).
Nancy’s visitation will be held Tuesday, November 11th, 11 A.M.- 1 P.M. in the All Seasons Chapel of White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford NY 14534. Her Memorial Service will follow visitation at 1 P.M. Interment will follow the service privately.
