Patti Hogestyn

Patti Hogestyn was born on September 9, 1953 in Rochester, NY to the late Arthur and Muriel Sheutzow .  She peacefully entered into eternal re st on Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Aurora House surrounded by her family.

Patti graduated High School and became employed as an Access Associate with the Rochester Internal Medicine Group where she was able to share her passion for caring for others.

Patti was fiercely independent, determined and loved her kitties.  She loved giving to others when she could and did so with a big heart. Along with caring for her kitties, s he always enjoyed reading a good book . She would often go camping, where she could enjoy the sweet sounds of nature in the most peaceful settings.

She often surround ed herself with friends and always cherished the moments spent with her family. Patti left a fun loving impression with everyone she met.  Her passion for life and love for others will forever be reflected in her children and grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Muriel Scheutzow & Raymond and Frances Hogestyn .

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Robert Labonte; her son, Kyle Youngblood; her granddaughters, Liana, Ashley and Kaila Roffman ; her sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Mike Guzzetti , all of Rochester, NY., along with a host of loving friends.

The family invites you to join in a Celebration of Life on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Red Fedeles Brook House, 920 Elmridge Center Drive, Rochester, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in the memory of Patti Hogestyn to The Aurora House, 2495 South Union Street, Spencerport, NY 14559 .
