Paula was born in Beverly, and raised in Lynn, MA before moving to Rochester, NY in the late 60s. She attended Lynn English High School and then later Finger Lakes Community College. Paula’s children were her pride and joy, her life’s fulfillment was her roll of Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother to not only her own, but many others that found their way into her life and home over the years. Paula worked numerous jobs throughout her life that kept her socially engaged in the community and surrounded by people. This also allowed her to provide just a little extra for her family from time to time. Paula was an active member of the Canandaigua American Legion Ladies Auxiliary while she lived in NY. She was an avid crafter who enjoyed having tables at craft fairs to sell her items. Paula moved to Lincolnton, NC in 2007. There she made many friends and became an active member in social groups like the Red Hats and the Odd Fellows’ Rebekahs as well as her beloved Lincolnton Senior Center, who did many things for her throughout her time there.
Paula spent her last days in New York surrounded by her loving family. Due to the social constraints, her celebration of life is being planned for May 15th, 2021 in NY in a location still to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations and memorials in Paula’s memory can be made to:
