Peggy (Mary Margaret) Muhlbauer Toenniessen, 77, of Rochester, NY, went to be with the Lord Friday, October 6, 2023. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Julius D. Toenniessen, and her daughters, Bonnie Toenniessen and Cindy Toenniessen, all of Rochester, NY; siblings Robert Muhlbauer, of Delaware, and Nancy Yager, of North Carolina, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A 1967 graduate of The Genesee Hospital School of Nursing, Rochester, NY, she worked as a Registered Nurse for over 25 years in various clinical settings. Her passion was Neonatal Intensive Care.
Tentatively, Peggy’s Celebration of Life will be 11am on October 21st at Faith UMC, Henrietta, NY. Her ashes will be scattered over the Niagara Falls at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the following:
