Penfield: Passed peacefully on Wednesday May 28, 2014 surrounded by family. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jane, his 3 children Jeffrey (Paula), Melissa (Michael Quinn) and Kerstin (Paul Lepore), his grandchildren Alyssa and Olivia Lepore, Kim and Kyler Lehrbach and Maura Quinn, and his sister Nancy Lehrbach Yost of Hendersonville, NC.

A graduate of Irondequoit High School, Phil went on to graduate from Clarkson College of Technology, then served in the US Army from 1952-1954. After his discharge, he returned to Rochester, married his bride Jane, and worked as an outside salesman for Heinrich Siebold and Merkel Donahue until his retirement in 1994.

Phil was a loving husband, father and friend, who loved life and people, and was greatly loved in return. He was a long time member of the Church of the Incarnation in Penfield, and his joys in life included his family and friends, his dogs, golf, tent-camping in Truro, MA, spending winters in Ft. Myers FL, Syracuse basketball, and the Red Sox.

A Memorial Service celebrating Phil’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday June 7, 2014 at the Church of the Incarnation, 1957 Five Mile Line Rd, Penfield, NY.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Church of the Incarnation or Lollypop Farm.
