Richard (Dick) Edward Bausch, born May 28, 1933 in Buffalo, NY has passed peacefully on July 2, 2024 at the age of 91. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Bausch, his parents William and Irene Bausch, his sister Joan (Gerald) Buchert, and sisters-in-law Joyce Pfleegor and Janice Van Vorst.
He is survived by his children Beverlee Harbour, Sherry Bausch, Laura Bausch and Richard (Julie) Bausch, grandchildren Sarah, Laura, Dallas, Caylin, Eric, Brian, Heather, Dylan, Cameron, Brandon, Allison, Stella and Anna, 7 great-grandchildren, sister Phyllis (Lyle) Linderman, sisters-in-law Eleanor LaPlant, Doris Van Vorst-Hymes, and Anita (James) Gardner, brother-in-law Hank (Mary Lou) Van Vorst and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Grand Vie Legacy home in Penfield, NY and the staff of East 6 at Highland Hospital for their care and compassion. Dick will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. He has now joined the love of his life, his wife of 56 years, Nancy, after only 3 recent months apart. May their memory be eternal.
