Ontario, NY: Passed away on September 24th at the age of 86. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Sandra; children, Keith (Nancy), Paul (Nicole), Scott (Sondra), Annelise (Brian); grandchildren, Christian, Nicholas (Brittany), Alyssa, Elise, Aspen, Cierra, Ryan, and Tyler; Sister, Margaret.
Dick met the love of his life, Sandra, in a singing group at the German Club in Rochester. It was love at first sight! They continued their love of singing throughout their life together, whether it be a love song to one another, a Christmas song, or a lullaby to one of their beloved grandchildren.
Dick took over his dad’s business in 1966, Bel-Gra Printers, when his father fell ill and worked tirelessly for 47 years printing labels for canning businesses in the Rochester area. Many family vacations were cut short as those labels had to be printed!
Dick will be remembered as a kind, honest, and compassionate person. He was an avid woodworker, handyman, and craftsman. He loved the water, daily walks with his wife in Webster Park, and had a passionate love affair with food!
Dick will remain in our hearts and memories as a devoted and loving husband, father, and friend. The greatest joy in his later years was being a “Papa” to his cherished grandchildren. His last wish was granted as he was able to attend his grandson’s wedding in June!
