Bosco, Richard Joseph
July 27, 1938 – June 21, 2024
At age 85, Richard, also known as Sonny, passed away peacefully at home. Predeceased by parents, Dominic and Frances Bosco. Richard is survived by his adoring wife of almost 35 years, Pamela (Bruehl) Bosco; daughter, Christina Scribani; son, Gregory (Nancy) Bosco; stepdaughter, Elizabeth (Thad) Tellier; stepson, David Key; sister, Marianne (Jim) Eckl; granddaughters, Haley (Dustin) Newell and Alana Scribani (Joe); grandsons, Leo and Owen Tellier; nephew, Jim (Jodi) Eckl; niece, Charlene (Rolf) VandeVaart; sisters-in-law, Cheryl (Dan) Wellbourn and Debbie (Dave) Norton; several great nieces and nephews and many cousins.
Richard graduated from West High School in 1956 where he was recognized as All-Scholastic in baseball, football, and basketball, leaving a great legacy in local sports. He also had a signed contract with the St. Louis Cardinals. Richard honorably served his country in Korea. Richard was a Supervisor at American Airlines for many years and retired from Eastman Kodak Company.
The family would like to thank Dr. Richard Constantino who has taken great care of Richard for so many years. Thank you to the North Greece Fire Department for assisting multiple times when Richard needed help. Thank you also to Rochester Regional Health Hospice & Palliative Care staff for their kindness and patience as we navigated home care for Richard.
