Richard K. Dell of Rush, NY, age 79, died peacefully on October 25, 2022, with his wife and daughters by his side. Dick truly was a great man and admired by many.
He is survived by his wife/best friend Catherine of 41 years. His children, Julie LaBore, Cheryl Niles, Cynthia Gonzales (Rob); sister in-laws, Teresa Risley (John) and Donna Pollard-White (Vinny).
Dick was blessed with 5 grandchildren, Adam and Brittany Labore, Anthony Skyner, Andrew O’Connell and the light of his life Nicole Grasso aka Sweet-Pea; 5 great grandchildren; several cousins, nieces, and nephews; many friends, and his camping family from Watkins Glen International.
Dick was a Vietnam Veteran and member of the Lima American Legion, Post 282. He worked as a machinist at Gleason Works for 39 years and retired in 2002. He enjoyed being with his family, going camping, fishing, and hunting. Dick also loved watching sports car racing and the comfort of his recliner and tv.
Friends wishing to visit the family and say a last good-bye may do so on Friday November 11, 2022 between 12 – 4 pm at the William Udicious Pavilion, located at 1900 Rush-Scottsville Rd (Rt. 251), Rush, NY 14543.
Private Burial will be held at a later date.
