Pavone, Richard M. passed away on October 16, 2019 at age of 82 years in Rochester, New York. He was predeceased by his mother, Dolores, father, Sam and his younger brother James. Richard is survived by his brother Michael (Kathy), daughters Barbara (Eric Van Ness) and Deborah Rose, sons Arthur (Tuyet) and Sam, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Richard was born in Washington D.C., and then raised in Rochester. He was first employed by his father at Pavone’s market on the corner of Scio St. and Main St. in Rochester.  Richard later joined the Navy and served as Boilerman between 1955 and 1959. After the serving in the Navy, Richard had a long career of 33 years with Xerox as a Stationary Engineer eventually retiring in 1995 and moving to Sun City, Arizona.  Richard loved the outdoors and spent much time with his family camping, boating, fishing, water skiing, downhill skiing.  Richard was very talented with tools and was able to repair most anything and completed many home improvements himself.  Richard loved to socialize and enjoyed everybody’s company, he joined activities such as card playing, square dancing, and pool activities.  He also enjoyed quiet moments and reading.

A Memorial Service will be held to honor Richard on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the All Seasons Chapel in White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, NY 14534.
