Rochester: Died December 4, 2013 at age 85 after lengthy infirmity. Predeceased by parents Raymond E. Robbins, Sr. and Myrtle A. Moore Robbins. Survived by sons Daniel A. (Lois), Jeffery A. and Timothy M. Robbins; sister Betty Lou R. Bradford; former wife Nancy S.R. Stone; current wife Mary C. Robbins; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and step relatives. Born January 21, 1928, raised in West Tremont, Maine, honorable service U.S. Army 1946-1949, he was a 1953 Graduate of University of Maine in Electrical Engineering and lived in Pittsford, NY. Employed at Stromberg Carlson 1953-1977, Acme Electric 1977-1980, and Xerox Corporation 1980-1994. Ray enjoyed eating, hiking, canoeing, genealogy, and lupines. He was an active member of Christ Clarion Church and served as Treasurer for 30 years; and an active member of Pittsford Rotary including past president and Paul Harris Fellow. He authored “The Houses of West Tremont” Vols. 1&2.
A Memorial Service in Rochester, NY and internment at Hillrest Cemetery West Tremont, ME will be scheduled at the convenience of the family.
