Robert A. Macko “Rob”
Rob passed away on October 28, 2024 at Strong Memorial Hospital, at the age of 31. He is survived by his devoted parents, Joseph and Marie, and loving sister, Joanne. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
Rob announced at the age of 3 that he was born to fish and play baseball. Growing up in Spencerport, he loved the game and later graduated from and played second base for McQuaid Jesuit High School. He was a diehard fan of the New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills; his boyhood idol was Derek Jeter. Rob excelled in academics and athletics – a modern day Renaissance man. He was known for his work ethic, boundless energy, competitive spirit, abundant kindness, and infectious humor. He played all sports and most recently took up golf as a hobby. He worked with his dad in property management from the tender age of 4 and loved learning about and installing house mechanicals. Rob was truly an ardent animal-lover and dearly loved his adopted rescue cat, Reese.
Rob’s Celebration of Life service will take place on January 11, 2025 from 11 AM to 7 PM at Webster Golf Club, 440 Salt Rd. Webster, NY 14580. Please contact his family for additional and special details.
