Bob was a gracious, kind, and generous man of faith who brought people together. He loved his family above everything else.
Born and raised in Rochester, NY, he enjoyed growing up by Lake Ontario and could often be found boating or swimming. After graduating from Edison Tech, he started his career at Kodak and worked hard to support his growing family. He enjoyed landscaping and carpentry, taking pride in building his home in Brockport. After leaving Kodak, he went on to become a bus driver for the Brockport Central School District. He enjoyed driving and interacting with children, teaching many lessons along the way. Perhaps the biggest lessons of all were the ones he taught his own children and those surrounding him during his prolonged and courageous battle following COVID. He had insurmountable patience and welcomed people to learn from him. Most of all he never wanted anyone to look back. He shared his wisdom and encouraged moving forward with positivity and kindness.
The family would like to thank everyone for their outpouring of support throughout this journey – you are truly a blessing. A mass will be held on Wednesday, July 26 at 11 a.m. at the Church of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 152 Main St., Brockport, NY 14420. Inurnment will follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery (Lake Avenue entrance).
