Ronald A. Behnke 72, passed away Tuesday May 7,2024 in Rochester NY after a heroic battle with ALS.
Ron is predeceased by his parents, Donald and Mary Behnke, his brother Warren, and sister Cecilie. He leaves his loving wife of 49 years Lisa, son Matt(Kate), granddaughter Bella, sister Diane Bowers, sister in law Edith Behnke, several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Ron retired from Artco/Cintas Industrial Laundry in 2017 after 37 years of service. He and Lisa looked forward to travelling and enjoyed many adventures to National Parks and Major League Baseball Stadiums.
He met so many good friends through his enjoyment of playing softball, golf, and bowling. Ron was passionate about 60’s Rock and enjoyed writing, playing and recording his own compositions on his guitar.
Ron loved to spend time with his son Matt who was his best friend. Together they enjoyed going to see their beloved Boston Sports Teams the Red Sox, Patriots, and Bruins. Ron was a devoted family man, nothing was more important to him than spending time with family and dear friends.  He will be missed.
Ron’s memorial service will be held in the All Seasons Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Rd Pittsford, NY on Wednesday May 15, 2024 at 11am.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Association at www.als.org
